Mrs. Sumana Madanayake passes away

Distinguished teacher and training college lecturer Mrs. Sumana Madanayake is no more.

Mrs. Madanayake served Sri Lanka and the Maldives for more than four decades. She breathed her last on Wednesday (17). She was 85 years old.

She was married to the late Mr. K. P. Chandrasekere, who served as the private secretary to several Ministers and a Chief Minister.

They were blessed with three daughters – Irosha, Chandima, and Wathsala.
