More petitions filed against Online Safety Bill

Forty-five petitions had been filed against the Online Safety Bill, Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena told Parliament yesterday.

At the commencement of sittings, the Speaker announced to the House that he had earlier received copies of 34 petitions against the Bill by Tuesday morning and later he received 11 more copies of new petitions referred to him by the Supreme Court.
