MONLAR Delegation engages in talks with Palestinian Ambassador

A group from the Movement for Land and Agriculture Reform (MONLAR) convened with Dr. Zuhair MH Syed, the Palestinian Ambassador to Sri Lanka, on Wednesday morning. Their purpose was to voice their strong opposition towards the Sri Lankan government’s decision to dispatch 10,000 agricultural workers to Israel.

Additionally, the delegation extended solidarity to the Palestinian community and denounced the continuous Israeli assaults on the Gaza Strip.

Present at this meeting were MOLNAR President M. K. Jayatissa, along with Chinthaka Rajapaksa, Shamila Ratnasuriya, Renuka Liandeniya, Anuka de Silva, and J. H. Munidasa, who represented the Hambantota District Farmers Organization.
