Mobitel unveils Apple Watch Series 6 and SE devices
Mobitel, Sri Lanka’s National Mobile Service Provider and the authorized reseller for Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads and Apple Watches unveiled the highly-anticipated, newly-launched Apple Watch Series 6 (GPS version) and Apple Watch SE (GPS version) in Sri Lanka recently. This latest product launch further consolidates Mobitel’s position as the preferred and most trusted partner for Apple devices in Sri Lanka.
The Apple Watch Series 6 System in Package (SiP) is up to 20% faster than the Series 5. The Always-On Retina display of the Series 6 is 2.5x brighter outdoors when the wrist is down. Both models allow syncing of favorite music, podcasts, and audiobooks while the GPS model lets the user take calls and reply to texts from the wrist. Users can track daily activity on and see trends in the Fitness app on iPhone while measuring workouts like running, walking, cycling, yoga, swimming, and dance.

WatchOS 7 provides sleep tracking, cycling directions, and new customizable watch faces. Both models come with a swim proof design, built-in compass and real-time elevation readings. Both watches require an iPhone 6s or later with iOS 14 or later and come in the most colorful lineup yet, including captivating colours such as Silver Aluminum, Gold Aluminum, Space Gray Aluminum, Red Aluminum and Blue Aluminum.
