Melantha does it online
The lockdown has galvanized many into action – working from home.
We see quite a few of our entertainers, on social media, doing it from home, mainly singing.
Obviously, they need to keep themselves occupied, and their fans entertained.
There are, of course, those who have switched to teaching their pupils, online, and Melantha Perera, a renowned musician, is doing just that.
His music school, Riversheen School of Music, was in full operation, but the lockdown has now compelled him to switch to online teaching.
He says he is quite happy with the new system as he generally conducts classes for his foreign pupils, online.
“The only change is that I now conduct my local classes, as well, online, due to the lockdown.”
His overseas classes are for students in Canada, the States, the UK, Australia, and Hong Kong.
