MAS Intimates opens Intermediate Care Center to assist COVID-19 patients in the North-Western Province

MAS Intimates, the largest division of Sri Lanka’s leading apparel manufacturer MAS Holdings (Pvt) Ltd, established an Intermediate Care Center consisting of 450 beds which was opened on the 1st of July 2021. The Center, situated in Polgahawela, was set up with the support of the Sri Lanka Army for the benefit and treatment of employees, their families and the general public in the North-Western Province, amidst the challenges faced due to the rapid spread of the virus across the region.

This Intermediate Care Center, built at a cost of over Rs. 48 million, was declared open by the Governor of the North Western Province, Raja Collure. Rajiv Dharmendra, CEO of MAS Intimates and Ruwan Keragala, Director of Production and Operations along with Director – Manufacturing, MAS Intimates, Rohan Daulagala were present at the occasion.
