Marine product and service provider recognised at National Industry Excellence Awards

Saram Auto Industries, a leading marine product and service provider in the country, claimed the Bronze Award in the metal casting category (small scale) at National Industry Excellence Awards 2023 organised by the Industrial Development Board (IDB). The award was received by the Owner of Saram Auto Industries Ranjith Saram at the award ceremony held at Nelum Pokuna Mahinda Rajapaksa Theatre in Colombo under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe.

Established in 1974, Saram Auto Industries undertakes propeller filling, anti-fouling painting, fiber repairs, engine repairs, and all forms of boat and equipment repairs. Their wide range of products includes marine propellers, tuna longline haulers, net haulers, stern arrangements and rudder systems. In addition, they have been importing various products needed for the fishing industry such as marine engines, marine compass, navigation equipment, steering systems, engine spares, safety equipment, motors, hydraulic pumps, control levers and cables.
