Manusha issues warning over health sector jobs in Israel

Labour and Foreign Employment Minister Manusha Nanayakkara has urged the public not to be deceived by those who promise employment in Israel.

The Minister issued the warning when he addressed 590 persons selected for consideration for jobs in the Israeli health sector. Addressing the group at the Foreign Employment Bureau, Minister Nanayakkara said that fraudsters had duped unsuspecting people by claiming they were relatives and friends of his.

In terms of an agreement between Sri Lanka and Israel, only those sent through the Foreign Employment Bureau would receive employment there, the Galle District MP said.
