Malaysian Airlines to increase flights to Colombo
Malaysian High Commissioner in Colombo Badli Hisham has assured Premier Dinesh Gunawardena their readiness to increase flights to Colombo.
A statement issued by PM’s Office yesterday (21) quoted Ambassador Hisham as having told PM Gunawardena that two other airlines, Air Asia and Batik Air wanted to introduce flights between Kuala Lampur and Colombo.

Ambassador Hisham has told PM Gunawardena that Sri Lanka could attract those visiting Malaysia by introducing additional flights to Kuala Lumpur.
The PM thanked Malaysia for a donation of medicine and medical supplies worth nearly one billion rupees over the past few years. The PM who is also the MEP leader appreciated job opportunities given to 10,000 Sri Lankans in terms of an MoU signed in 2016 on the recruitment, employment and repatriation of workers.
