Madush’s body ordered to be released to his wife

Additional Magistrate Colombo Kanchana Neranjani Silva ordered the Colombo Judicial Madical Officer to hand over the body of slain drug lord and underworld leader Makandure Madush to his wife after conducting a post mortem.

The Magistrate visited the scene of the killing in the morning.

The judge made the order considering a request made by counsel Gunaratne Wanninayake appearing for Madush’s wife Jayani Muthumali and her aunt Mallika Samarasinghe.

Attorneys Wanninayake and Anoma Kumari Piyatunge appeared for the relatives of Madush.
