LSU new office bearers

The election of office bearers of the Law Students’ Union (LSU) was held at the Sri Lanka Law College in Colombo last Tuesday and the following have been elected as the new office bearers of the LSU for the year 2023: President – Shenal Wijesinghe,  Vice President – Mohamed Shahmy Fareed, General Secretary – Kavindu Malshan,  Junior Treasurer – Bilaal Marikar, Educational Secretary – Sumudu Rathnasiri, Assistant Secretary –  Sachith Gehan Rodrigo, Social and Welfare Secretary – Thenuda Imbulagoda, Editor – Trincy Vidanagamachchi, Business Manager – Pramod Silva, Sports Secretary –Hansith Anusara Marasinghe, Assistant Education Secretary – Shifani Azad, Editorial Assistant – Navod Rathnasekara, Assistant Sports Secretary – Ashwin Pragash, Committee Member (Male) – Nimesh Heshan, Committee Member (Female) – Udani Weerakoon.

Election of new office bearers for the Law Students’ Sinhala Union of Sri Lanka for 2023 also took place on the same day at the same venue. Following are the new office bearers: President – Denuwan J Kumanayaka,  Vice President – Pasindu Srimal Liyanagama, General Secretary – Oshadhi Malimage, Educational Secretary – Danuja Nimesh, Media Coordinator – Supun Banuka Rathnayake, Assistant Secretary – Maneth Pathirana, Treasurer – Nushka Mohamed, Editor – Amadi Sandeepani, Business Manager –  Nipun Rathnaweera, Project Manager – Kulanga Sathsarani, Editorial Assistant – Pamudu Kularathna, Asst. Education Secretary – Rashmi Weerasekara, Committee Member (male) – Dishan Indika Batuwaththa and Committee Member (Female) – Oashuni Rajapaksa.
