Look after Rohingya

“According to The Island, January 5th page 3, a small number of Rohingya seeking safety in Sri Lanka are in grave danger of being abandoned by the UN refugee Agency here.

The Pope has described the Rohingya as the most persecuted people on Earth (although the people of Gaza today have now taken over that tragic position).

The monthly allowance given by the UNHCR is a matter of life and death for the Rohingya here.

Sri Lanka has reportedly refused them citizenship but, surely, they deserve protection from persecution in Myanmar, and can be given temporary Residence status here?”
