On arrival in London

Singer/entertainer Sohan Weerasinghe is, undoubtedly, a big drawcard, in the local scene, but he now seems to be weaving his magic, overseas, as well! And, his magic comes not only as a performer but also his ability to captivate and charm his audience.

He left last week for this third trip to the UK, this year, and his fourth performance, in London…and this time it’s to usher in 2023.

Sohan will be seen in action at the Honeymoon Banquet Hall, in Hounslow, backed by the outfit Roots, made up of Sri Lankans, based in the UK.

Sohan says his early departure, for the 31st night scene, is to spend some time with friends, and do some sightseeing, as well…before and after his performance.

He is due back home on January 5th, 2023…but his stay at home won’t be for long; he has commitments, Down Under, too.

On February 11th, 2023, he will be doing the Desmond de Silva Tribute Concert and Dinner Dance, along with several other artistes, in Sydney.

His next date, in Australia, is at the Sydney Arts Centre – ‘Hearts Afire’, a sing-along event – on February 18th.

And, before his departure, for home, sweet home, he is scheduled to perform at the Attic club night, on February 24th, in Melbourne.
