Locally produced GRI branded tyres launched by Perera Tyre Service

In keeping with President Gotabhaya Rajapaksa’s concept of prioritizing locally manufactured items, Perera Tyre Service (Pvt) Ltd became the sole distributor for GRI tyres in Sri Lanka. The distribution agreement was signed between Global Rubber Industries (Pvt) Ltd and Perera Tyre Service Pvt Ltd recently. Accordingly, all the GRI Brand specialty tyres, including Agriculture, Construction and forklift tyres which were only exported to more than 40 countries including Europe and USA, are now available island wide.

With more than two decades long successful history, GRI becomes the largest Radial and Bias Agricultural tyre Manufaturer in Sri Lanka. GRI is the first and only radial agricultural tyre manufacturer made history in 2018 by opening the most sophisticated tyre manufacturing plant in Sri Lanka.

Global Rubber Industries has achieved ISO 9001:2015, ISO 50001:2011 and ISO 14001:2004 quality certificates over the years. For the first time that Perera Tyre Service, which is known for high quality international Tyre brands, steps in to distribute a locally manufactured tyre.
