Lithum Jayabandu clinched the title of the Under 14 boys’ singles at the First Capital

SSC Open Tennis Championships 2022 continued in Colombo on Tuesday.

In an all- Ananda final Jayabandu beat Methika Wickramasinghe 6-3, 2-6, 12-10 to win the title.

In the Under 16 boys’ quarter-finals Royal College’s Methwan Wijemanne and Anandian Raveen de Alwis were the winners.

While the Royalist beat Sandas Usgodaarachchi 6-4, 7-6(6) in his match Raveen de Alwis beat Louis Knese 6-1, 6-1.
