Liquor stores and wine shops closed on December 25 and 26

As per directive issued by the  Commissioner General of Excise,  all  wine shops and liquor sales outlets will remain closed on Christmas day (25 December) and Unduwap Full Moon Poya Day (26 December)

However, all star-class hotels approved by the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) with valid liquor licenses are permitted to sell liquor on December 25 but will remain closed on Poya Day (Tuesday).
