Liquid Island clinches Gold at National Industry Excellence Awards 2023

Liquid Island, the manufacturer of Sri Lanka’s pioneering natural mineral water brand Olu Tropical Water, received top recognition at the National Industry Excellence Awards 2023 recently. The company clinched the Gold Award in the ‘Value-Added Product & Beverages Industry’ category under the ‘Micro Category and Tea’ sector for its commitment to excellence in factory operations and processes, and benchmark Corporate Social Responsibility.

Liquid Island’s performance at the awards is attributed to its green industry concept, as the company has transitioned from using PET bottles to glass bottle filling and replaced polyethene shrink wrapping with corrugated cartons for packaging.
