Lenovo launches its first Shop-in-Shop store in Colombo to enhance retail experience for consumers
Lenovo, global technology leader, today announced the opening of its first SIS (Shop-In-Shop) store at Technocity, in Colombo. Technocity is one of the largest multi-brand retail distributors and service providers in Sri Lanka having over 10 stores in the country. The launch comes as part of Company’s effort to provide a superior retail experience and accelerate availability of its products in the country.
The new store will be located at Technocity’s Laptop.lk – the largest laptop store in Sri Lanka, and set to host an extensive range of electronics, computer hardware and peripherals, including Lenovo’s flagship products such as Ideapad (consumer-oriented laptop computers) and Legion series (high-performance gaming laptops) and much more. There are dedicated zones created for gaming and premium products, which include AMD powered laptops, desktops, AIOs, monitors and other accessories.
Lenovo has opted for the SIS retail model (a space within a large retail store) to offer to its consumers the option to touch and feel its products before making a purchase decision.
The store was inaugurated by Naveen Kejriwal, General Manager, Overseas Business – Consumer, Commercial & Tablets, Shekhar Karmakar, Regional Sales Manager- Consumer- Overseas, Sameer Varshney, Regional Sales Manager-Commercial Business, along with Fahmy Ismail, Chairman & Managing Director, Technocity.
