LCB Finance to have 12 branches before end of Q1 2022

Lanka Credit and Business Finance Ltd (LCB Finance) has opened its 10th Branch in Tangalle in keeping with its ambition to be committed to the development of the rural economy. CEO/Executive Director stated that another branch in the deep south in Deiyandara is scheduled to be opened on 27thJanuary which will be its 11th branch and with the Akuressa branch to be opened in mid-February, their branch network will reach 12 branches before 31st March 2022.

LCB Finance is of the view that this initiative will contribute to uplifting the livelihood of the people in these areas. The Company is planning to provide working capital to the unemployed youth to enter into self-employment projects or improve their existing ventures.

Through the Tangalle branch, LCBF ecpects to focus on catering to the financial needs of the fisheries sector and SME related to tourism. Deiyandara and Akuressa branches are to serve the agriculture industry in particular and other SMEs. The company is making arrangements to expand its branch network to 22 branches islandwide, before the end of 2022.
