Lanka Hospitals reports PAT of Rs. 2.2 bn for 2021
Records highest revenue and profits since its inception in 2002
The Lanka Hospitals Corporation PLC recently announced that it has achieved significant revenue and profit milestones in the financial year 2021, recording the highest revenue and profits since its inception in 2002.
In its announcement to the Colombo Stock Exchange, the hospital group has reported that it had recorded a revenue of Rs. 10 Billion in 2021 against the revenue of Rs. 6.8 billion recorded in 2020, representing a top-line growth of 47% YOY basis. The Group also reported a PAT of Rs. 2.2 billion for 2021 compared to Rs. 384 million recorded 2020, representing a profit growth of nearly six times more than in the prior year.

Lanka Hospitals’ Group Chief Executive, Deepthi Lokuarachchi stated that 2021 was a year full of challenges and the sheer dedication, commitment and perseverance of the hospital’s medical and support teams saw to a differentiated approach in managing the diverse healthcare needs of patients amidst the pandemic.
