Landslide Early Warnings issued to Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle and Ratnapura Districts

The Landslide Early Warning Center of the National Building Research Organisation (NBRO) has issued landslide early warnings to the Districts of Galle, Kandy, Kalutara, Kegalle and Ratnapura.

Accordingly, a Level III Red Alert has been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Division of Eheliyagoda in the Ratnapura district while level II warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of Ingiriya and Bulathsinhala in the Kalutara district, Warakapola in the Kegalle district and Kuruwita and Ratnapura in the Ratnapura district.

Level I landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions of  Wallawita, Palindanuwara and Mathugama in the Kalutara district, Baddegama, Nagoda and Elpitiya in the Galle district, Udapalatha in the Kandy district, Yathiyanthota, Bulathkohupitiya, Dehiowita, Deraniyagala and Ruwanwella in the Kegalle district and Kiriella, Kalawana and Ayagama in the Ratnapura district.
