Landslide Early Warnings issued to Colombo, Galle, Gampaha, Hambantota, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Matara and Ratnapura Districts

The landslide early warning center of the National Building Research Organisation has issued warnings to the districts of Colombo, Galle, Gampaha, Hambantota, Kalutara, Kandy,  Kegalle, Matara and Ratnapura.

Accordingly,
Level II landslid early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Elpitiya and  Neluwa in the Galle district, Ingiriya, Walallawita and Mathugama in the Kalutara district, Akuressa and Pitabeddara in the Matara district  and  Kuruwita, Ratnapura, Elapatha, Eheliyagoda and Kalawana in the Ratnapura district.

Level I landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Divisions and surrounding areas of Seethawaka and Padukka in the Colombo district, Nagoda, Galle Four Gravets, Thawalama, Ambalangoda, Niyagama, Akmeemana, Imaduwa, Bope Poddala, Yakkalamulla and Baddegama in the Galle district, Mirigama in the Gampaha district, Walasmulla in the Hambanthota district, Agalawatta,  Bulathsinhala, Dodangoda and Palinda Nuwara in the Kalutara district, Pasbage Korale in the Kandy district, Yatiyanthota, Kegalle, Ruwanwella, Deraniyagala and Dehiowita in the Kegalle district, Welipitiya, Mulatiyana, Thihagoda, Malimbada, Matara, Kamburupitiya, Pasgoda, Kirinda Puhulwella, Hakmana, Athuraliya and Kotapola  in the Matara district and Kolonna, Godakawela, Imbulpe, Pelmadulla, Ayagama, Nivithigala, Kiriella,Opanayake, Kahawatta and Weligepola in the Ratnapura district
