Landslide early warnings issued to Badulla, Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Matale, Matara, Monaragala, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura Districts

The landslide early warning center of the National Building Research Organization (NBRO)  has issued landslide early warnings to the Districts of Badulla, Galle, Kalutara, Kandy, Kegalle, Matale, Matara, Monaragala, Nuwara Eliya and Ratnapura.

Accordingly, Level II landslide early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Division and surrounding areas of Ududumbara in the Kandy district, Laggala Pallegama in the Matale district and Walapane, Hanguranketha and Nuwara Eliya in the Nuwara Eliya district.

Level I landslide early early warnings have been issued to the Divisional Secretaries Division and surrounding areas of Badulla, Passara, Lunugala, Hali Ela and Ella in the Badulla district, Neluwa in the Galle district, Mathugama, Bulathsinhala and Ingiriya in the Kalutara district, Thumpane in the Kandy district, Yatiyanthota, Deraniyagala, Dehiowita and Warakapola in the Kegalle district, Rattota and Ukuwela in the Matale district, Kotapola and Pitabeddara in the Matara district, Bibila in the Monaragala district and Imbulpe, Eheliyagoda and Balangoda in the Ratnapura district.
