Lakmee Exports Lanka gifts second house to an employee

Lakmee Exports Lanka Company (Pvt) Ltd recently handed over the keys to a fully completed house to their employee Vidusha Lakmal.

State Minister Shehan Semasinghe, Lakmee Exports Lanka staff, Vidusha Lakmal’s family members and residents of the area were present at the special occasion when Vidusha Lakmal and the family entered the house for the first time.

“Lakmee pays special attention to the welfare of its employees. This activity is another step in that direction. This is the second time we have gifted a house to an employee. We hope to continue with this programme in the future as well.” Ushan Udumulla, Founder Chairman of Lakmee Exports Lanka said.

Launched in 2008 as a small business in Thalawa, Anuradhapura with just 5kg of soya meat, Lakmee Exports soon become a major player in the local market. Currently, 55 consumer products are available from Lakmee, including Dadayam Batta Soya Meat, Black Chicken Soya Meat, Lakmee Sauces, Magic Mix Noodles, and Polta Coconut Vinegar.
