Ladies’ College – Bishop’s College Hockey encounter ends in draw  

The weekend’s much anticipated sporting encounter – the hockey fixture between Ladies’ College and Bishop’s College ended in an exciting draw with the Shield being shared. There was much interest ahead of the 16th encounter on Saturday as the teams returned to the Astro Turf after a two year hiatus due to the pandemic. The two leading Colombo girls’ schools have been competing for the LC-BC Shield since 2005. The images show the teams competing and Chief Guest Mayanka Kalupathirana, who had skippered Ladies’ College posing for cameras with the two captains Seneca Dissanayake and Onaya Kulatunga.
