Korean ambassador strengthens economic cooperation with Sri Lanka

Ambassador of Republic of Korea Santhush Woonjin Jeong met with Minister of Finance . Basil Rajapaksa at the Finance Ministry.

During the meeting held recently, ambassador Santhush and Finance Minister discussed issues of mutual interest, and looked forward to strengthening economic cooperation between the two countries as well as attracting investment opportunities for Korean companies in Sri Lanka.  In addition, the two sides engaged on ways to expand labour cooperation, trade and investment cooperation and ODA support between Korea and Sri Lanka.

Country Director of KOTRA, Lee Sung Hun and First Secretary of the Korean Embassy, Ms. Lim Miyeon joined the meeting.
