Kiriella announces SJB march to oust govt. 

Chief Opposition Whip and SJB Kandy District MP Lakshman Kiriella said that his party would launch a six-day march on 26 April, from Kandy to Colombo demanding the incumbent government to step down. The march is scheduled to reach Colombo on 01 May, he said.

The march is scheduled to commence at 9 am on 26 April from the Kandy Central Market with Opposition and SJB leader Sajith Premadasa leading it, MP Kiriella said, adding that the incumbent government had proven its inability to govern and as a result the people were suffering from the soaring cost of living, fertiliser shortage, human rights violations, breakdown of the rule of law, violation of civil rights and leading the country to anarchy.
