Kiran, Apna, Janali, Dinethya reach singles finals  

Men’s and women’s singles finalists of the Sri Lanka Tennis Association Hard Court Nationals 2023 were found as Kiran Virawanathan, Apna Perera, Dinethya  Dharmarathne  and Janali Manamperi scored victories in their respective semi-finals worked off on Monday.

Virawanathan will meet Perera in the men’s singles final after they emerged victorious in their semi-final matches.

Virawanathan beat Gayanga Weerasekara  6-2, 6-2 in his semi-final, while Perera registered 6-2, 3-6, 6-3 win over former champion Thangaraja Dineshkanthan.

In the women’s singles, Dharmarathne beat Tuwini de Alwis 6-0, 6-2 in her semi-final, while Manamperi recorded a 6-3, 6-4 win over Saajida Razick.

Now the men’s and women’s singles finals will be played on Wednesday.
