Kerala cannabis with street value of over Rs. 13 mn detected

The Navy detected about 34kg of Kerala cannabis during a search operation conducted on the Pungudutivu Island, Jaffna, on Monday (15). The consignment of Kerala cannabis had been hidden in shrubs in the beach vicinity, the Navy headquarters spokesperson said.

The gross street value of the recovered stock of Kerala cannabis is believed to be more than Rs. 13 million.
