Kerala cannabis with a street value of Rs. 02 mn found

A search operation conducted by the Navy in the vicinity of the Vankalavadi beach, Jaffna, on 14 Jan., led to the recovery of a buried stock of Kerala cannabis weighing over 06 kg (wet weight).

During the operation, naval personnel found three parcels of Kerala cannabis.

The gross street value of this stock of Kerala cannabis is believed to be about Rs. 02 mn. The stock of cannabis was handed over to the Kayts Police for further investigations.
