Kandy Perahera without spectators this year as well

KANDY- The annual Kandy Perahera would be held without spectators this year, too, Diyawadana Nilame of the sacred Temple of the Tooth Pradeep Nilanga Dela  announced  yesterday (10) afternoon.

Most venerable Mahanayake Theras of Malwatta and Asgiriya temples have also consented to the decision, the Diyawadana Nilame told the Kandy Esala Perahera Organising Committee meeting held at the Maligawa meeting hall.
