Justice Minister wants PSC on electoral reforms

Justice Minister Dr. Wijeyadasa Rajapakse, PC, on Wednesday (26) requested Speaker Mahinda Yapa Abeywardena to appoint a Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) to recommend electoral reforms.The Justice Minister asked for recommendations pertaining to parliamentary, provincial council and local government polls. The lawmaker said that the PSC shouldn’t consist of more than 21 members.
