S.Thomas’ College Mount Lavinia did well to avenge a poor display at rugby this season when they smashed the high-riding Vidyartha College rugby team 35-19 in a quarter-final match of the President’s Trophy Schools Rugby Knock-out Tournament worked off in Colombo on Saturday. The winners did well to run down five tries and convert all their touchdowns.

Meanwhile in another quarter-final match of the same tournament played on Saturday Isipathana Collage managed to beat Dharmaraja College 38-6 at Royal Sport Complex.

On Sunday St. Joseph’s managed to advance to the semi final after beating St. Anthony’s College 34-14 in their quarter-final match played at Havelock Park.
