Jerome goes before SC

Controversial preacher, Jerome Fernando, has requested the Supreme Court to issue an order to the IGP and the Director of the CID to prevent his arrest. Fernando is accused of making an inflammatory statement that is inimical to religious harmony.

In his petition, Fernando has said his statement has been misunderstood and that he had not made a statement that could cause disharmony among the people.This petition was filed through Attorneys-At-Law, Namal Karunaratne and Udara Muhandiramge.
