The Japanese delegation

A Japanese business delegation of over 50 members is visiting Sri Lanka on the invitation of Dr. Ruwan Perera, Chairman of Rowelmark and Colombo International Airport Hotels group.

This Japanese delegation representing medium and large scale companies arrived in Sri Lanka on Tuesday (13) with the idea of promoting Sri Lanka as a tourism destination in Japan. This is an initiative by Dr. Perera to assist the country through this urgent mission to promote Sri Lankan tourism in the world. They will also engage in a number of other activities including discussing possible investments in Sri Lanka, a visit to the Lady Ridgway Hospital, witness deserving schools in Colombo and Galle, visit development projects, to name a few.

Visitors will also serve as ambassadors to promote Japanese investors to invest in lucrative projects in Sri Lanka. Additionally. Dr. Ruwan Perera will facilitate local exporters who want to enter the Japanese market as well. The delegates are scheduled to meet several ministers and government officials where discussions will be held attracting investments investors with the view of helping the people and the government of Sri Lanka recover from the prevailing economic crisis.
