Jaffna Kings top table with a game to spare

Jaffna Kings’ excellent run in the LPL continued as they topped the table with a game to spare following their 102 run win over Colombo Stars at RPS yesterday. Despite the result of Jaffna Kings last group game, they will retain the top slot in the points table.

Jaffna Kings made 193 for five batting first as Upul Tharanga and Kohler Cadmore shared an 110 run stand for the first wicket. Cadmore made 92 off 55 deliveries with five fours and eight sixes.

Colombo collapsed as they were bowled out for 91 runs inside 16 overs as West Indies quick Jayden Seales finished with four wickets.

Jaffna Kings made some experiments as well as they were sure of a play-offs place and young leg-spinner Vijayakanth Viyaskanth finished with three wickets.
