Gerald Hidelaratchi presented special award for lifetime service in supply chain industry

Gerald A Hidelaratchi was awarded the Lifetime Prestigious Apex Award 2023 by the institute of Supply and Material Management (ISMM) at its 51st Anniversary Sri Lanka. He was the founder member of the ISMM, senior delegate and vice president of the International Federation of purchasing and management. He was also the past president of the Organization of Professional Associations of Sri Lanka. He was further recognized for his valuable and immense contribution with dedication and commitment to elevate the supply chain profession in Sri Lanka. He is also a recipient of the highest professional status of being a companion of the charted management institute of the UK. Charted Companions are a select group of best leaders from across the globe, recognized for their outstanding impeccable management and leadership.

He held several senior positions in the public sector, corporate sector and in the international sector. After nearly 60 years of dedicated service and now in retirement, he still remains active within the ISMM and OPA.
