Ishalini’s body released to family after second autopsy

KANDY –
The remains of Jude Kumar Ishalini, 16, who died while working as a domestic worker at the residence of MP Rishad Bathiudeen, were released to her parents after the second autopsy at the Peradeniya Teaching Hospital yesterday (13.)
The body was brought to the hospital on July 31 for a second post-mortem examination by specialists, following an order of the Colombo Magistrate. The examination was led by Prof. Jean Perera.
The second post-mortem report is to be released later.
The mother and the brother of Ishalini were present to receive the body.
