Interim Budget tabled in Parliament

The Budget Amendment Bill 2022 was presented to Parliament yesterday (09).

The Amendment Bill, with regard to the Appropriation Act No. 30 of 2021 for the year 2022, was presented to the House by Prime Minister Dinesh Gunawardena.

Parliament sources said that the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution would be presented to the House today (10).
