Interesting events, but…

With a new sub-lineage of the Covid-19 Delta variant being detected, in Sri Lanka, I only hope this would not lead to another closure, or further restrictions, being placed on venues where people gather.

Unfortunately, I’ve noticed that most of our folks seem unconcerned about the health guidelines laid down to tackle this deadly pandemic!

The entertainment scene is just beginning to open up and there are quite a few interesting events to look forward to.

On Wednesday, 8th December, some of the legends of the country will be seen in action, from 7.00 pm, onwards, at the Irish Pub.

Sohan, Mignonne, Noeline, Geoffrey, Manilal and Dalreen will be doing it live, backed by the group Mirage.

Nine days later (17th December) , Clifford Richards, Sohan, Trishelle, and guest star, Falan Andrea, will be seen at a sing-along event, at the BMICH, backed by The X-Periments.
