Increased fuel quota extended by one week

The increased fuel quota would be in effect for another week, State Minister of Power and Energy D.V. Chanaka said yesterday.

The fuel quota was increased last week in view of the festive season.

Chanaka said that the Ministry of Power and Energy was analysing data from last week to determine if they should make a permanent change to the fuel quotas.
