Illicit romance lands OIC in hospital

A soldier surrendered to the Mahiyanganaya police, over the weekend, after assaulting his wife and her paramour in Mahiyanganaya.Police identified the wounded man as the Officer-in-Charge of a police station elsewhere. The victims had been attacked with a pestle, investigators said.The police officer was admitted to the Badulla Teaching Hospital, while the woman was taken to the Mahiyangana Hospital.
