At a time many Sri Lankans are leaving the country seeking better working and living conditions in the West, the Industrial Development Board (IDB) held an awareness programme in Gampaha where students from selected schools in the region took part in. The session was full of insights for the young students to ponder over the lucrative entrepreneurial opportunities available for them in the country after successfully completing their studies, instead of getting a job and settling for a life of mediocrity.
B. K. Jude F. Rodrigo, the award winning entrepreneur of Gampaha District and Managing Director at Bopitiya Auto Enterprises in Nugape, Pamunugama, delivered the keynote speech of the programme at the request of IDB.
