Over 90 matches and 25,000 runs after the Global Cricket Club Junior Championships (U13/15) commenced, the stage is set for the grand finals on April 7.

In the Under 15 age group, hosts GCC Reds will meet MCA Academy in the finals. GCC Reds (162/5) registered a convincing five wicket win in their semifinal encounter with MB Cricket Academy (159/8). The other semi-final was a more closely contested game where MCA Academy (146/7) narrowly edged out Bloomfield Academy by one run.

The quarter finals concluded the previous  weekend saw some close finishes. All teams had played high-quality cricket throughout the tournament and this was no less evident in the last eight.

The finals of GCC Junior Championships will be conducted on April 7 at the Bloomfield Cricket Grounds in Colombo.

The Under 13 finals will be played in the morning, followed by the Unfer 15 finals in the afternoon. The awards and prize giving will be held soon after the final.
