Horizon International clinch Inter International Schools Under 15 Basketball title 

Horizon International School clinched the title of the Inter International Schools Under 15 Basketball tournament after beating hosts Gateway International in the final.

The team captained by Nichol Fernando became the first team from Horizon to win a title in this tournament organized by Gateway International, Colombo.

Horizon captain Fernando was also adjudged the Best Defensive Player of the tournament.

The championship winning team included Aashika Binumon Nair, Mesandy Kuruppu Arachi, Nithuni Kurukulasooriya, Senuthi Widisinghe, Hasandi Peiris, Abhinandi Perera, Nikitha Marasinghe, Tarisha de Silva, Nichol Fernando and Akithma Kurukulasooriya. Horizon are trained by Sandeep Gunarathne and Charitha Dodangoda.

Horizon captain Fernando was adjudged the Best Defensive Player of the tournament.
