Honorary Consul of Austria

By Exequatur of Gotabaya Rajapaksa, President of the Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka dated 10th of December 2020 the appointment of Thomas Frank Daetwyler by Alexander Van der Bellen, President of the Republic of Austria as the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Austria has been approved.

In a statement Thomas Daetwyler said that his aim is to further expand friendly relationships between the two countries as well as to grow the trade which is already significant.
