Hirunika predicts Ranil’s fate

National Organiser of the SJB Women’s Wing former MP Hirunika Premachandra on Sunday predicted that President Ranil Wickremesinghe would face the same fate as his predecessor Gotabaya Rajapaksa in the coming weeks.

Speaking to the media in Matara, Premachandra said that an increasing number of ministers led luxury lives while the people were burdened with more and more taxes. “Gotabaya Rajapaksa and Ranil Wickremesinghe are like two sides of the same coin. Within weeks, the incumbent President will suffer the same fate as Gotabaya with the people taking to the streets,” she said.
