Here comes the bride at the celebrity weddings show

The Bridal Show organised by the Bride and Groom magazine, is Sri Lanka’s most exclusive luxury wedding exhibition showcasing Sri Lanka’s top wedding couture.This show was exceptionally curated spectacular event featured the best designers offering brides, grooms an opportunity to make exclusive fashion and luxury choices for their festivities. The celebrity designer Wedding Show presented by the Bride and Groom magazine was held recently at the Colombo Hilton.

Since 2009 the Designer Wedding Show has been showcasing the best bridal creation by the best designers in Sri Lanka. This year the show featured a special bride and groom segment by leading designers Ramani Fernando, Michael Wijesuriya, Ramzi Rahman, Dananjaya Bandara, Purnima Abeyratne, Johann Peiris and Aslam Hussein.

All proceeds of this show was directed towards Cancer Society. This year the show as choreographed by Rozanne Diasz.

Speaking at the media conference, Pramith Mallawaratchie, CEO of Bride and Groom Wedding Magazine, reiterated his pleasure to partner with the Indira Cancer Trust and the Roshan Mahanama Trust and help create awareness of the incredible work done by the two charities. He further stated, “Since its beginning the Bride and Groom magazine has taken pride in bringing amazing wedding ideas to couples that are planning their weddings, and the Celebrity Designer Wedding Show helps to bring these into focus”
