Head of ICRC here calls on Defence Sec.

Head of the ICRC Delegation in Sri Lanka Severine Chappaz made a call on the Defence Secretary General (ret.) Kamal Gunaratne at the Defence Ministry on Wednesday (09).

The Defence Secretary appreciated the services of the ICRC and pledged support for its future activities. Chappaz expressed gratitude to the Defence Secretary for the support extended for their operations in Sri Lanka.Albert Schoneveld, Armed Forces delegate for the ICRC and Military Liaison Officer of the Defence Ministry Maj. Gen. Dinesh Nanayakkara were also present.
