Hayleys wins mercantile ‘E’ Division title

A mesmerizing spell of spin bowling by Pavith Ratnayake (5 overs,22 runs, 5 wickets) guided Hayleys Group RC ‘B’ to a dramatic three-run win over Stafford Motor Co. in the 20th David Pieris Group of Companies sponsored, ‘DPGC’ Challenge Trophy – MCA ‘E’ division 25 Over League Tournament 2023 final, at the MCA grounds on Saturday. Ratnayake’s bowling was crucial in defending a total of 155 runs as Hayleys restricted Stafford Motors to 151 runs. The victorious team is pictured here with their awards.
